Came across this the other day. I lived in the Calgary 3rd Ward when he served as our Bishop with his first wife Luella. We moved from Calgary in 1974. He subsequently provided me the employment I needed to save money toward my mission .. the summer prior in 1976 and again for several months immediately after my mission at the end of 1978/start of 1979. My Mom was (and still is) close friends with Luella.
