As the resident expert (aka the only one Aubrey could convince to help her), I was asked to demonstrate my vast skills in dutch oven-ing-ry. Since I am also scheduled to attend Stake PEC at this same night and time, I decided to just video the presentation ahead of time for her. We can then start the dutch ovens and let them cook while the video is presented and the presentation will pretty much run itself.
Notes: most information from "Camp Dutch Oven Cooking 101 - from backyard to backwoods", by the Lodge Manufacturing Co, the book that came with my dutch oven and from not so 'sad experience' over the past year or so. I have a 12" standard depth dutch oven from Lodge. Aubrey found a similar one but with lower depth (better for baking) at our recent Lion Club Garage Sale fundraiser. Sweet!
